I was shocked and saddened to hear of the death of Michael Jackson. I can honestly say that he was the first singer I ever knew. When I was two years old, my parents had taped a video cassette with all of his popular music video. There were quite a few of them but I clearly remember 'black or white' and 'remember the time' very clearly. I have always been a fan and still have many of his songs on my iPod and even though friends used to think he was 'lame' (incidentally those friends claim they mourn him today) I have stood by the fact that I enjoyed his music.
Just last night I was on a social networking tool there was a question about who you think deserves a second chance and I chose him (later I realized that just an hour later he passed away.)
