Here I was all confused about what to write for my 'F' post. Just a few hours ago I got to go to a fashion show by famous Designer Azeem Khan. It was a special preview of his collection 'Indian Darbar at Buckingham Palace' line held at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai.
The collection was beautiful! There was men's & women's wear. There was a lot of gold in all the outfits, there were cocktail dresses, lehengas, & what not. Also, comedian Vir Das was the host for the night (That guy is freakin' hilarious. OMG I was rolling with laughter & my dad thought I was drunk because I had a screwdriver.) There were performances by Sandip Soparrkar & Jesse Randhawa, & I got to see a ton of famous India models like Pia Trivedi, Tupur or Tapur Chatterjee (yeah they're identical twins & I don't know which one was here!) and a lot of other models who I recognized but whose names I don't know. And the show stopper was none other than Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut (they auctioned the lehenga she was modelling for charity. It went for rupees 1.5 lakhs.) And the food great! And the desserts: Wow. It was a slightly chaotic but very glam night.
I did click a lot of pictures, & came to one important conclusion. My BlackBerry camera works well outdoors, but really sucks with dim lights & strobe lights flashing all about. Uploading those pictures would be not just an insult to me but to photography in general. So I say that yesterday evening had 4 Fs: Fashion, Food, Fun & Family (because I went with my parents!)

She is hugely into fashion...almost-stilletoes(ignoring aching feet!) n pawty frocks by night and jeans/leggins capri with experimental kurtas and blouses by day! she loves to try out different shadowed looks for her eyes too. you can imagine how Daddy rolls his eyes when asked to comment!!
we don't mind much because she smells good in the end!** wink***
