I'm happy to get a remote for my Canon EOS 550D. I'm not sure whether I'll use it that much but it felt like a nice to to have in my kit. I really need to try taking self portraits.
I also went for the Ralph Lauren Big Pony Fragrance Collection for women launch. It was fun meeting a bunch of other bloggers there.
Now there's a funny story with the chocolate cake. We've always been buying cake from the same bakery for every birthday party since I was a little kid. In recent years I don't have Birthday Parties, but we still do buy cake often. Last year I surprised my mom with cake on her birthday, & I'm pretty proud of it because I actually managed to keep it a surprise. Anyway Anita, the lady who owns the bakery remembers my name & my birthday. Since I spent my birthday in Goa, mom ordered a chocolate cake now. When Anita asked about what should be written on the cake (You know, 'Happy Birthday so & so...') mom said nothing, we're just going to eat it ourselves. Then she brought the cake home & we saw Anita's message, 'Hi Magali Enjoy'. :)

ReplyDeleteThank You! There's no editing of any kind there other than running it through instagram. I was at Dome, this Terrace cafe that overlooks Marine Drive. It was super hot so the cloth was to shield you from direct sunlight, & that is the eponymous dome visible from in between the cloth.
