A roll with the LC-A+

Three of my favorite photos from a roll I tried in a friend's Lomography LC-A+ circa August 2011. This was around the time I really wanted to buy one of these, but not only was the price tag exorbitant,  Lomography not having any retail in Mumbai then meant that I would have to deal with ridiculous customs fees & despite my usual irrational shopping I found that unacceptable.
That is when the same friend suggested I buy a vintage Lomo LC-A, I was sorta appalled. Me, buy something second hand? Oh the horror. But that was one of the best suggestions ever, & you will learn why when I share photos from that first roll in my next post.

Love,

  1. I love Lomography cameras! And those pictures (: That car is so gorgeous! They're not too expensive from Urban Outfitters (i don't know if they have UO in India), only about $65 and super cute! Film could add up though...

  3. We don't have UO here.
I interned with Lomography India for a while. They have a ton of different cameras, anything between $30-$400. The LC-A+ that I wanted costs more tha $250.
And it does add up! *lesigh*. The things I do for love. ;)

  4. I don't have a LC-A camera and I'm not going to buy it any time soon and that's because... I might buy a Beetle car! I'll keep you posted...
