Isn't the room in the picture above just beautiful? We're probably going to repaint in a few months, & I had so much trouble trying to decide on a wall color, but now I know - white! Scandinavian décor & aesthetics are really growing on me & I honestly can't wait till we have an IKEA outlet here in Mumbai (it could be just three or four years more, fingers crossed).
I now have a vintage technics turntable, given to me by my favorite grand uncle. For the longest time I planned to buy a brand new one, but restoring this will give me something to occupy myself with & in the process I might learn more about how a turntable actually works, wish me luck!

I must admit I'm not the biggest fan of the all white furniture that's common in Ikea. I prefer mine to look like pine... and would love bright colours. Thinking of painting my unit sometime in the next couple of years and would love to have one wall that's either orange, red or purple with the others off-white.
