I think Feminists try to exalt superiority or equality of females rather than talk about the possible peaceful co-existence of men n women :) You have spoken about it. Also you do wish to grow up old with some guy which is very unlike feminists :)

Here's the deal kiddo, definition of life,love and Lucifer @ 20 is slightly different than @ 30,dramatically different @40 and non existent for many by 50. So don't be so sure just as yet that you won't eventually land up kissing the frog.!

You are too young, so am I, to say that you hate men. I can give you excerpts from my own mother's life when she had to fend for herself when her father went bankrupt. She thought she could lead a life without "a man" in her life, but later on she did realize that life kind of gets lonesome, and being a loner is not nice. When she was young, most definitely, she felt she didn't need anyone to support her. But now, she thinks she is blessed and is quite happy with life (touch wood). It is OK (excellent in fact, because relationships can be quite distracting) to not have a boyfriend, but to be a total feminist with no give towards the male community is not a good sign. I am sure you would grow up to this institution of thought as you grow up. I know you have told already that you are relaxing your hold on yourself, but you need to shed that "thing" quite quickly.

By the way, I found this post highly "mature". Good going Magali. I do not know how much of what I rambled made sense to you, but I thought I could take the liberty to say a few words of wisdom! ;-) I would love to see many such thoughtful posts here in the future. Wishing you good luck. Cheers.

Well, to start with I liked the way you expressed about you being feminist. You cited an example, you compared yourselves to a Princess and you are proud of being "Single" and so ur mom too is proud abt that fact. I liked the way you look at the life. Infact you are right, most girls at your age, if im not wrong 17+, would like to a have boyfriend for the only reason that everyone has got one, or it is just being cool. But once u grow-up your perception changes, your thought to have a Boyfriend will be to be "grow old with him". I was also like u. Now I am happily married and I feel complete now :-). Dont forget to drop me a word once u find the one whom you can grow old with, saying "Im complete with him"

You might find more of the charming princes turned frogs. But you might miss out on that guy with whom you like to grow old with.

So best is to know the inside out of a guy. And that can be achived through friendship(do not read Love).
