Is Magali your real name?

Magali is my real birth name! From my research I have found lots of different meanings.

It is the French form of the Greek name Margaret, which means 'Pearl'. Also possibly from the Persian name Mar Galiti meaning 'daughter of the sea.' It could also possibly be from the French name 'Madeleine' which is the Hebrew form of Magdalene, literally meaning 'woman from Magdala' but also means 'from high tower' or 'one who is elevated'.

Can I use your photos on my blog / website or as my facebook cover photo?

Pictures on my blog are taken by me (with very few exceptions, like when I feature someone else's work with their permission), & I prefer to see my pictures on my own blog, that's where they belong (remember that the pictures here are my pictures of my life and it's odd for me to see them someplace else). But if you want to do a blog post to promote my blog/photography, I usually don't mind (I'd always like it if you ask first and please don't use more than a couple of pictures).

✯ Don't use my pictures to illustrate things you sell (courses etc).

✯ Don't use my pictures to illustrate your life - they are personal pictures of my life.

✯ You are not allowed to alter anything about my photos - don't crop or alter my picture's dimensions & do not add stuff to them (for example text, borders, other people's pictures, a watermark, your own pictures etc).

✯ Don't make collages of my pictures.

✯ Don't use my pictures as user icons, blog headers, facebook cover photos etc.
✯ Don't put my photos on your facebook page.

Which camera do you use?

I actually have a ton of different cameras & sometimes friends lend me some to try them out! You can find them all listed on my cameras & equipment page.

Can you tell me which camera to buy?

I'm sorry, no. I was a newbie when I bought my first too. All I can say is decide on your budget & read a lot of reviews before making up your mind. Good luck!
